The Flordaglo Peach tree cultivar was developed at the University of Florida with the focus of producing an early ripening peach that would bring the top price at the grocery store or in a pick-your-own orchard before most other varieties are available. This medium sized peach is white with a glowing red fuzz that covers the white skin. The fully ripe interior pulp is aromatic and delicious for fresh eating at the remarkable April maturity event. The melting taste is tantalizing and refreshing to enjoy when picked fresh off the tree. The Flordaglo peach tree requires only 150 hours of chill temperatures and grows well in USDA zones of 9 – 10.
