The Loring Peach trees are excellent commercial peach producers with peaches that have an extended shelf life in grocery stores. A favorite tasting peach for growing in most of the Midwestern States in USDA zones 5, 6 and 7, because of its period of late blooming that avoids late frost damage. The ripening time begins in late July and lasts through August. The Loring peach is large and delightfully scented with a yellow skin and a faint red blush. The strong flavor and aroma of the sweet juice is distinct and smooth.
