The early ripening of the Floraprince Peach occurs in mid May after receiving 150 chills (5 to 6 days of 45 degrees F) required to set fruit. The southern gardener can enjoy peaches by planting only one tree but to feed a large family plant more than one variety to increase harvest potential. Flordaprince: The Flordaprince peach tree produces a delicious low-chill fruit that is an early ripening peach. The Flordaprince peach is covered with fuzz that is easily removed.

The peach tree started leaf buds pretty soon after planting. Very good and hearty tree.
