Hale Haven Peaches ripen in late June through early July and needs 5 weeks of 45 degrees F, or 800 chill hours, to set fruit. Hale Haven Peach trees are self-fertile producing an abundance of fruit with just one tree but to increase quality and harvesting planting another cultivar for cross pollination. This is a freestone yellow peach of excellent quality that tastes better than any store bought peach. Plentiful crops of Hale Haven fruit are full-flavored and delicate yet pleasantly satisfying with an unusual aftertaste.

It is just starting to break dormancy. So far so good. Roots and above ground portions were well protected during shipping and I got everything planted promptly.
