The Tilton Apricot tree ripens from lake June to early July and requires 600-700 chill hours to produce(3.5 to 4.5 weeks of temperatures below 45 degrees F.) This apricot tree is self pollinating and is resistant to late frost. The bright yellow color of the Tilton apricot is retained even in dried apricots that can be eaten during the Winter.

The apricot tree arrived bare root but with good root stock. Will see how it grows, but it arrived in excellent shape.

I received several trees  and they all were in good shape. This was a large apricot tree. I am really looking forward to  watching it grow. I am the only one around with an apricot tree. I'll let you know how it's doing next year.
