The Golden Amber Apricot trees originated in California, and the early flowering period is extended for 30 days, and then the apple ripening extends over a 30 day period in July – a characteristic that makes this apricot a top choice for the home gardener who might prefer to lengthen the harvest time. The extended 30 day flowering period also reduces the early frost damage possibility and helps to ensure the likelihood of a crop set. The Golden Amber apricot fruits are top size, and the deep sweet flavor is remarkable with an unusually high content of sugar that makes it excellent for drying to eat later.

tree condition May 3, 2017
Reviewer: donald foster from schuyler lake, NY United States
This tree appeared to be close to dormant when it arrived, but on loser examination,it was starting to leaf out.Upon planting,it continued to grow, but the tips of the leaves are black, and growing very slowly. The roots on this tree were also severly pruned back, but at least it appears to be growing, but very slowly.
