The Tropic Gold Apricot tree requires 350 chill hours to produce fruit (roughly 2 weeks of temperatures below 45 degrees F).Orchard growers in the South who can easily grow peaches, pears, and plums may see a bright commercial future with the introduction of this amazing apricot, the Tropic Gold. The Tropic Gold apricot is medium to large in size and colored yellow with a speckled red cheek. Since its introduction into the South, the Tropic Gold apricot has fruited reliably every year, ripening in late June or early July.

The plants look good, and were packed well for the shipping. They are in the ground and should start coming to life soon.
