When comparing the white mulberry taste with the red or black mulberry, the white berries contain the most sugar and are sweetest. The Whitey mulberry may have been brought into America during the Colonial period to grow fruit and to establish the silk trade, however, the silk trade was doomed to failure, because of competitive prices elsewhere. Whitey Mulberry trees are very variable in tree form and the berry shape and can tower to 80 ft in height. The Whitey mulberry usually grows about 2 inches long, and delicious crops are produced in great quantities. The white mulberry tree is the earliest to ripen, beginning in April and lasting through June. White mulberry trees are extremely productive and can survive cold temperatures of minus 25F and grow well in gardens as well as in containers.

5 of 5 7' tree ordered May 26, 2020
Reviewer: WILLIAM PERRY from SEFFNER, FL United States
This tree was a 7 footer when ordered. I had several concerns when I ordered it. The heat was starting t rise daily and we were getting close to the summer kick off. I knew it would get stressed before TyTy shipped it. It did in fact arrive in a stressed condition. The leaves were all wilted and brittle. I soaked it and put it in the ground and hoped for the best. After a 2 week period there was no new growth so I cut it back to 3' hoping it would do the trick. As a matter of fact, the tree started sending out new shoots and this week it started to leaf out. Had it not been stressed. This tree would have been one of the best looking ones I have had the pleasure to plant.

Well packed with moist paper and gel. Roots are well developed. Green starting to show on buds. Tree appears to be healthy. I will be buying my trees from TyTy Nursery.

I'm  certain it looked great when packed, however after  being in a torn open box in a hot ups truck all day, delivered in the evening! All the leaves were severely wilted, water , planting and rain still hasn't brought them back after 2 days
