The tree arrived healthy. I was not expecting it to be bareroot but was able to get it in a pot immediately. Am looking forward to many years of persimmons.

Prior to shipping, the nursery docked the height of my tree, cut the tap root and other parts of the root system.  I believe this will alter the plant's growth and  success to live.  I will expect a replacement if the tree dies.

I believe the tree will be fine but there was a little more shock than I anticipated. It  is a good looking tree though! I cant wait until it bears fruit!
