Pollination & Fruit Production
- Pollination: The Eureka Persimmon Tree is self-pollinating, so it will produce fruit with just one tree. Planting additional trees can help increase yield and improve the size of the fruit.
- Recommended Varieties: Although self-pollinating, pairing it with other varieties like Fuyu or Hachiya can improve fruit production and increase overall yield.
- Fruit Description: Eureka persimmons are large and round, with a vibrant orange skin and a firm flesh that is astringent until fully ripe, at which point it softens into a luscious, custard-like consistency.
- Taste: These persimmons are celebrated for their rich, sweet flavor and complex undertones of honey and tropical fruits, offering a sophisticated flavor profile when fully ripe.
- Ripening Time: The fruit ripens in late fall, typically from October to November, providing a late-season harvest of sweet, flavorful persimmons.

- Sun Requirements π: Full sun for at least 6-8 hours per day ensures healthy growth and optimal fruit production.
- Soil Requirements πΏ: Prefers well-draining, slightly acidic soil (pH 6.0-7.0) with rich organic material for the best growth and fruit yield.
- Spacing π³: Space trees 15-20 feet apart to allow for proper growth and air circulation.
- Mature Size π³: The Eureka Persimmon Tree typically grows to a height of 15-20 feet, making it suitable for small gardens and larger orchards alike.
