The Eureka Persimmon Tree is an astringent, flat, orange, and a heavy bearing fruit tree that ripens in October through December. The Eureka Persimmon is self-fertile and needs very few chill hours less than 200 (8 days of 45 degree F or below) to produce fruit. Try eating the sweet flavorful, seedless persimmon without the presence of seed. the yellow orange color beans the persimmon fruit is dead ripe and ready to eat.

Promptly received the dormant bare root plant about a week after placing my order.  I planted it into the Texas clay a few days after it arrived.  The root stock only had a about 3 scraggly roots and I was not optimistic.  However, after a little over two weeks I was delighted to see it beginning to sprout leaves.
