- Recommended Varieties: While the Black Beauty mulberry is self-pollinating, planting it alongside varieties like the Pakistan or Gelato Red Mulberry can improve overall pollination and fruit quality.
- Fruit Description: The fruit is large, sweet, and dark purple when ripe, with a smooth, juicy texture and a flavor that blends hints of blackberry and raspberry.
- Taste: Black Beauty mulberries are known for their delicately sweet taste with subtle tart undertones, making them ideal for both sweet and savory culinary applications.
- Ripening Time: The fruit ripens in mid to late summer, usually between July and August, providing a steady and delicious harvest of mulberries.
