Product Description Pollination and Growing Zones Shipping Information

Smyrna Quince Trees ripen in September and only require 100 chill hours to produce.(4 days of 45 degrees temperatures). Smyrna Quince Trees are also self pollination, however production has been known to improve with the presence of a cross pollinator. It is not unusual for a Smyrna Quince tree to bear quince fruit the first year, if you buy a larger tree to plant.

5 of 5 Quince tree shipment January 28, 2021
Reviewer: Marla Cheppa from Vienna, VA United States
Packaging is excellent - the trees arrived in terrific condition and were nicely pruned, and roots wrapped well.  the hand holes allow for air circulation - the advice about the shipment and delivery was clear and correct.  So... I am just hoping that the trees flourish - so I can comment only on the ordering/shipment and correspondence -

5 of 5 Nice! April 30, 2018
Reviewer: Pamela Laubacker from Newfane, NY United States
Received well even though they got misdirected somehow in transit. Cant wait till they are producing. My grandpa used to grow them in his yard and it was a tradition to make sauce out of them when they were ready.
