Flordahome Pears ripen from mid June to mid July and require 400 chill hours (3 weeks with temperatures at or below 45 degrees F.). The Hood Pear tree is required in the pollination of the Florda Home Pear. The quality of the fruit produced by the Flordahome Pear Tree is good with a storage life up to 3 months. The tree tends to overbear and the limbs often droop with the weight of the fruit produced.

Both of the pear trees are looking great. They have little tiny green leaves.

4 of 5 Flordahome December 31, 2021
Reviewer: Kevin Cruthirds from Edinburg, TX United States
Arrived in fairly good condition. The root mass was somewhat small compared to the Flordahome. The root ball was damp but not as wet as a fig tree I purchased from another dealer. I did not find any  instruction or other literature on planting, care, and fertilizing. Any information would be appreciated.

Packing and shipping were other wise terrific. The trees were secured well saving than from the delivery company who dropped them on my porch upside down.
Both trees were immediately repotted in 3 gallon containers in the hopes of promoting new root growth until it is cool enough here to plant in the ground (probably Late February).
