The Boyne red raspberry plant is a hybrid cross that was reported and released in 1960 to produce juicy red berries that are somewhat dark in color, and the berries of this raspberry are medium in size and ripen as a soft sweet flavored raspberry with a delightful taste. For freezing in commercial plastic grocery packs, the Boyne red raspberry holds its excellent quality of flavor for extended periods. The Boyne raspberry is very cold hardy and has been planted extensively throughout the United States as a top home or commercial garden choice berry selection. Many suckers are produced in the mother plant, so that the plant production capacity is high for best commercial consideration, and the overall costs of increasing the size of a raspberry orchard is drastically reduced.

3 of 5 Hard to say June 2, 2020

Only giving it a 3 star because it came as a twig and it's hard to say what will happen. But I'm expecting great things.

1 of 5 Raspberry plant May 26, 2020

The plants look like dead sticks, not much of a root system, nothing green, I have put them in soil and watered every day, does not appear to be growing.

I understood that the plants would arrive in a dormant state. I hydrated the plants overnight before planting them. The plants have been in the ground for 10 days and yet to have even one bud on them. They truly look like two dead sticks sticking out of the ground. If they don't bud in the next five days, I would like a refund.

5 of 5 Great packaging May 20, 2020
Reviewer: Robert from Omaha, NE United States
Great packaging - roots in excellent condition, even see some new growth on roots.  Could have had some instructions on how best to plant, but was able to search online to make sure everything was done right.  Shipping was a bit later - but okay with everything going on now.  Fortunately still got everything in time so should be good even though don’t see any topside growth yet.
