It is not unusual for the ever bearing September Red raspberry to ripen in some Southern States as early as August, however, the intense burst of the flavor is sharpest in the month of September when the berries are fully ripe. The berries are a pleasantly bright red color, and the sweet floral and fruity aroma accents the distinctive taste balance of acid and sweet. The September Red raspberry bushes will grow in many Northern States and are very cold tolerant down to below freezing temperatures.

5 of 5 Pleased with order May 13, 2022
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Central New York, United States
I was very pleased with my order. Everything (9 raspberry 2-yr old plants, 3 of each - Heritage, Latham, September) arrived very well wrapped and boxed and all appear alive. They are bigger than I expected, with good extensive roots. It all shipped within days of ordering, way within the 7-10 day window I was expecting (I had to hustle on preparing the bed for them), and I got notification of the shipment and tracking so I knew when to expect them. They arrived in the very late afternoon (I am out in the country, deliveries are often late day) so I kept them in the cool garage and planted them first thing the next morning. Will have to see how they grow.
