As the fruit begins to to swell and change color to yellow, the everbearing white Italian Fig tree branches begin to arch over from the increased weight of the figs, making fig harvesting much more convenient. One ripe white everbearing fig is a delicious handful of eating pleasure if you buy a nursery grown, bearing size Italian White Fig tree. The Italian fig is everbearing, meaning that it bears more than one fig harvest during the year. In Italy an after-dinner dessert is served accompanied by fresh, delicious Italian figs, that sometimes are dried in sugar crystals.
