Belle of Georgia Peaches ripen in August and require 800 chill hours (5 weeks of 45 degrees F or below temperatures) to set peach fruit. Known to be self-fertile research shows fruit quality and harvest yields to increase by planting different cultivars nearby to increase pollen. The Belle of Georgia peach is the most celebrated white peach tree grown in the United States, and the interior pulp is white and delicious to taste. They are exceptionally vigorous and early bearing, being one of the most reliable white peach producers of all.

5 of 5 dormant not dead June 11, 2021
Reviewer: diane may from augusta, ga
I was hesitant on purchasing from tyty based on reviews but after doing research, finding them on Maps & noticing their space off a highway in South GA, I figured I'd try - the deals were incomparable. I purchased the Belle of GA, Elberta & Red Haven Peach Trees.  They were shipped quickly & packaging was great.  The trees came dormant-no leaves, bare root-roots exposed & labeled. I soaked them outside in a bucket of water for about 24+ hours, mixed the sites with a 40lb bag of soil amendment for the 3 trees, then planted them in their holes (about 1.5-2ft wide/deep, the rootballs were abt 8-10" wide). I watered the trees for 5m/ea after planting & luckily, rain was in the forecast so they got 4" of rain the 2nd day & another 3" the 3rd day.  Deep watering after planting is so important.  Checked them today & they are budding green & I've knocked off the suckers on the bases. I'm excited about these, they're a good size & hopefully they can produce in the next 1-3 years!
