The Oconee pecan trees produce a soft papershell nut which has around 48-56% kernel ratio. The Oconee Pecan Tree selection is highly recommended for Northern climates, since it shows a very high resistance to cold temperatures. The nuts on the papershell Oconee Pecan tree fill out the kernels well for early fall sales. This pecan tree produces the male pollen catkins shortly after the first leaves form in the Spring that leads to the easy pollination of the nuts.

5 of 5 Oconee Pecan Tree Purchase June 6, 2020
Reviewer: Sharon Britnell from Sylvan Springs, AL United States
This tree was dormant with a few buds along the tree. We planted and have watered every day. I now have leaves coming out and it is very much alive. Tree has been planted a week.

5 of 5 Sturdy pecan tree May 19, 2020
Reviewer: Bob G from Gunter, TX United States
Despite being the smallest size offered for this pecan tree (1-2 feet), it arrived in very robust condition.  The main tap root was already long and thick and the tree was starting to bud out.  No tiny twig here.

Reviewer: Kristin Rustin from HOLLYWOOD, SC United States
It has buds that are at break. The apical bud was cut and the tip appeared dead. There is a single thick root as if it is stared from a stem with 3 2 inch feeder roots.
