The cold hardy Northern James pecan tree is an excellent grafted tree selection that produces thin-shelled pecans, leading to medium size product (90 nuts per pound) with an oily, crunchy kernel that is enriched with a sweet aromatic substance, perfect for fresh eating, or to place into a newly baked pecan pie or for roasting into a tasty crispiness for eating later. The Northern James pecan tree has been documented to grow in below zero temperatures of New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania, and a 6 foot tall tree often produces a few nuts the first year of planting.

5 of 5 Recent Order June 11, 2021
Reviewer: William in Virginia from ,
My recent order arrived quickly and packed securely. Thank you. The first pecan tree already has half a dozen buds. I gave the 2nd tree to a fellow gardener.

5 of 5 came within a few days. June 9, 2021
Reviewer: gary oprondek from , chicago
I wish I would of know how deep I had to  dig before the plants came,  I could of dug the holes over 3 days for the 3 trees, rather then dig 3 ,3ft deep holes in one day. One tree started to bud the next day, the other two haven't done anything yet. (one week later.)
