Forest Pansy Redbud Trees, Cercis canadensis 'Forest Pansy', was found originally growing as a native tree in the State of Missouri and was recently introduced into the nursery trade. This 'Forest Pansy' redbud tree cultivar grows purple leaves when they first emerge that eventually turn a yellow to red color in the fall. The green leaves are large and heart-shaped and follow the appearance of clusters of rose-pink flowers that appear on all parts of the tree trunk and twigs. Large pea pods follow the blooms of this flowering tree, and the 'Forest Pansy' redbud tree is a legume that fixes Nitrogen and enriches the soil fertility.

4 of 5 Forest Pansy RedBud May 11, 2022
Reviewer: Wesley Mcmurtrey from Wagoner, OK United States
I ordered five Forest Redbud Pansy bare-root trees 5-6 ft. I received them as promised. 4 have survived and doing well. 1 of the trees has yet to come to life and is more than likely dead due to a very poor root system. All five trees were planted in pots and have been maintained. I will transplant into the ground this Fall or next Spring.

4 of 5 My Tree Survived the Rough Shipping April 10, 2022
Reviewer: Karen W from Jacksonville, FL United States
Prompt shipping. Unfortunately the box was delivered to the wrong address by the shipping company. I was able to locate and retrieve it, but the long box it was shipped in was almost broken in two.  Luckily the red bud tree was fresh and unbroken.

I've been very happy with the bare root trees we have bought from TyTy. Most recently our 2 Forest Pansy Redbuds are doing great. Very healthy.
