The Hippeastrum Amaryllis 'Celica' flower is unmistakably the brightest red-orange, new introduction by the Dutch hybridizers this year. The fiery red blossoms are double-flowered, that demonstratively have an appearance of one flower outfitted with six petals inserted into the face of another flower, giving the finished appearance of 12 flowers compressed together. The center petals are diminished in size, as the center of the flower is examined, and an occasionally pure white fleck of color will randomly show up at the tip of the smaller petals. The 'Celica' amaryllis bub will produce two to four flower stalks, and each stalk will be capped by 4 to 6 flowers.
