Redtip Tree

The Redtip Tree is an ornamental evergreen shrub with red and green leaves. Also known commonly by its scientific name as 'Red Tip Photinia,' the Redtip Tree has new growth that starts red and darkens to green with maturity. The flowers of the Redbud tree are white and are very conspicuous against the red and green foliage. The new growth on a Redtip Tree will be scarlet red and will contrast well with the green leaves and white blooms.•     As a flowering tree, the Flowering Redtip tree the plant glows with color. Few plants offer mass color variability like the Flowering Redtip tree. While most leaves change to red when they are ready to fall off, the Redtip Tree leaves start red and change to green. Because Pruning causes new growth, Redtip Trees work great as well trimmed hedges.

Delivery Time: Deciduous Flowering Trees & Shade Trees are shipped dormant usually December through April, weather dependent, shipping within ten business days from when the order was placed, while in the current shipping season. The actual delivery time will usually be within four to seven days following the date of shipping by Ty Ty Plant Nursery. Shipping Method: UPS Ground and Motor Freight if the proper arrangements have been made by the customer prior to shipping. Shipping costs do apply on Motor Freight shipments, not covered by any sales promotions.

If plants are listed by gallon size the plant will be removed from container and have the majority of the dirt removed to allow for the best shipping.
