The rapid growth and tropical appearance of the Mysore Banana Plant makes this cultivar from India a popular landscape selection to grow near pools and patios. The delicious flavor of the Edible Mysore Banana tree is exciting to those who are searching for a new banana taste. A slightly acidic flavor offsets the sweetness, just enough to make it interesting. The Mysore Banana tree's root system is so strong that it never blows over from high winds. The Edible Mysore Banana Tree is a very robust tree. It is known to have no disease problems ever , and the Mysore is one of the most important commerical cultivars planted in Asia.

Banana tree cane with all leaves chopped out. Not sure this will survive in this condition. But hey at least it is not dead
