The Lady Jane amaryllis bulbs are 30 to 32 cm in diameter and have become one of the most popular double flowered amaryllis flowers, sometimes containing as many as 18 petals per flower, known on some websites as 'triple flowered amaryllis flowers'. The Lady Jane double flowers of this unusual, hybrid, amaryllis cultivar is a popular bulb for containerizing. The large 6 inch flowers, 4 to 5 in number, nodding slightly, are vivid orange varying in shades and coloring that can darken or lighten in color, depending on the temperature and light intensity.• When containerized and forced into flower, the Lady Jane flower stem is capped with an inflorescence of 4 to 6 double flowers, and the first flower stem will be shortly followed by another emerging evolution of blossoms that springs from the swollen Amaryllis bulb. As many as 4 flower stems can form in succession on very large mother bulbs (40 cm.) Large white bands of white whirls can intersect the orange petals with random, tiny, maroon and lettuce-green lines interspersed.
