Persimmon Trees

Persimmon trees are very popular and produce huge quantities of fruit once mature. Many varieties of persimmon are astringent or bitter with exception to Giant Fuyu, Hanafuya and Fuyugaki. All of our persimmon trees self-pollinate and seeds are small, easy to chew and will not germinate. Persimmons usually lose of the chalky taste and soften when set in the sun to ripen.
