Mulberry Trees

The Mulberry tree is a very curious and unique tree. Mulberry tree fruit is similar in appearance to an elongated blackberry or raspberry and have a sweet flavor. Mulberry trees provide the only food source for silkworms. Mulberry fruit is mildly toxic if eaten before ripening and becomes either red or black when ready for harvest.
