In lower Florida the Fishtail Palm Tree can be grown in the landscape in full sun where, it can grow 25 feet tall, and from a distance it looks like a bamboo grove. The Fishtail Palm Tree originated in Indonesia where it grow vigorously in tropical rain forests.
