The Pygmy Date Palm Tree is fine-leafed and is a single-trunked palm that grows slowly up to about 5 ft. tall. The tree is perfect for any landscape, to give off that exotic look of a tropical plant, and is a top choice for low light situations for indoor or outdoor gardens. The Pygmy Date Palm tree flourishes in partial or full shade, but it will not generally succeed in dark indoor corners. The Pygmy Date Palm Tree is a very good container plant when potted indoors, and these trees thrive in low light locations to form excellent container plants at office entrances or indoor palm plants.
