The fall and winter landscape is pleasantly illuminated by the rustic red leaves of the Firepower Nandina shrubs, especially when planted just outside a large picture window. Nandina is an excellent potted plant, producing a colorful display that will attract all sorts of attention.

The Firepower Nandina plants add a texture to landscapes at building entrances, and in the fall after the first frost, the color changes from green to red- the red foliage lasting throughout the winter until new green buds form in the springtime and unfold into delicate lacy globes of foliage elegance. Nandina is evergreen, growing in full to partial sun. It is a moderate grower, growing up to 4 or 5 ft. tall, and only 3 feet wide.

The Domestic Nandina works well as as evergreen line of shrubs that always show berry colors of red or fragrant flower colors of white displayed on delicate lace-like, medium green leaves that constantly move in a breeze. Nandina's size is 6 to 8 ft. tall, but only 3 feet wide, meaning it works well in narrow spaces.
