The Hippeastrum Amaryllis Minerva bulbs are 30 to 32 cm in diameter and are considered to be one of the most popular classic striped amaryllis flowers. Each flower of the Minerva amaryllis has 6 petals, and each red petal is bisected midway by a white prominent stripe with random streaming red lines flowing from the petal base to the tip. The bright red striping dominates a netted, stitched, red effect on the edges of each of the six white petals of Minerva Amaryllis and is perfect for an attention getter to liven up a dark room setting. The signal-red flowers develop four to six atop the one foot stems of the Minerva Amaryllis Bulb. Each of the four to six blossoms are marked with a white star in the center of each individual flower, and parallel, reddish linear threads radiate from the outer edges of each white star.• The Minerva Amaryllis bulb springs into flower 3-4 weeks after planting with multiple stems on motherbulbs and 4 plus flowers on each stem. The Minerva Amaryllis Flowering Bulb produces beautiful, striking blooms that all will enjoy. The TyTy Nursery has amaryllis available from October through July.
