Banana fruit production on the dwarf Texas Star banana is reliable on large goliath sized banana trees.


The Texas Star Banana Trees have survived 0 degrees F. at Ty Ty in Jan of 1984 and some of the original trees left growing at Wichita Falls, TX survived and grew back to produce fruit in the Winter of 1989-1990 when temperatures there fell to minus 16 degrees F.
