Sago Featherleaf Palm tree seeds ready for planting. Sago Featherleaf Palm trees produce male and female individuals. The pollen from the male Sago Featherleaf Palm tree can be dusted on the female organelle to force seed production, which can then be sprouted to form plants.

For containerizing purposes near outdoor entrances, the Sago Palm is extremely desirable.

Huge clumps of Sago Palms are planted at the Retreat Plantation Golf Course located at St. Simons Island, Georgia.

The male Sago Palm will pollinate the female Sago Palm, beginning in the month of June.

Some Sago Featherleaf Palm trees along the Atlantic coast beach are 270 years old and 12 ft. tall with stately umbrella crowns. Containerized Sago Palms require little attention and are perfect to plant at store entrances in downtown locations.

Arbequina Olive Tree

Try planting nursery grown, grafted olive trees that can bear fresh olives the first year for table eating quality. In Northern states the olive trees can be containerized and grown near an entrance or planted in pots near the pool for that tropical flair, and in Winter just move your olive trees indoors and eat tasty olives all Winter. The olive oil produced from pressing Arbequina olives is of a high quality and a fruity musky flavor but rather unstable with a short shelf life in some cases.
