Meyer's Lemon, Citrus limon x sinensis

Meyer's lemon is not a true lemon but is used as a popular substitute for the true lemon that is more sour, thorny and smaller in size. The tree of the Meyer's lemon is smaller than tree lemons and contains fewer thorns on its twigs, being almost thornless, but containing a few bitter seeds. As a zesty garnish enhancing agent the Meyer lemon contains that mixture of pleasing taste and aroma that is satisfying.

Arbequina Olive Tree

Try planting nursery grown, grafted olive trees that can bear fresh olives the first year for table eating quality. In Northern states the olive trees can be containerized and grown near an entrance or planted in pots near the pool for that tropical flair, and in Winter just move your olive trees indoors and eat tasty olives all Winter. The olive oil produced from pressing Arbequina olives is of a high quality and a fruity musky flavor but rather unstable with a short shelf life in some cases.
