Gobbler Oak Tree [Quercus acutissima 'Gobbler']

The Gobbler Oak is a Sawtooth Oak which was developed specifically to have smaller, easier to eat acorns. Gobbler Oaks begin to form acorns in 5 years, earlier than other oaks. The Gobbler oak grows up to 40' tall and is sun loving and drought resistant. Autumn color change ranges from yellow to yellow-brown. The canopy of the tree is very wide, making excellent, deep, low lying shade.
