The individual size of the Briteblue blueberry is larger than most other nursery grown blueberries, and the late ripening is a bonus for eating fresh or on blueberry pancakes.
The late maturing Briteblue Blueberry plant variety has great commercial importance and is excellent in the home garden for fresh eating. When picked ripe from the bush, the berry is at a flavor peak and is delicious in blueberry muffins, pancakes or pies.
The fresh crops of blueberries begin ripening in the last week of May and extend through July into August.
The large size and enormous production yields of the Briteblue blueberry make this cultivar perfect for the home garden. The Briteblue Blueberry bush produces a berry larger than a quarter.
