Voodoo Lily Flowering Bulbs

The Voodoo Lily has an easily recognizable flower, a long flowering stem cupped by a spadix much like a Calla Lily. Voodoo Lilies are pollinated by flies and wasps which are attracted to the pungent smell that is released for a few hours after the bloom opens. Small bulbs grow from the Voodoo Lily which are easy to plant and grow.




Snakes cool off under the dense tropical leaves of the Giant Snake Lily Flowering Bulb. The Giant Snake Lily Flowering Bulb plant produces thick fleshy stems that are dramatically spotted like a leopard or some snakes.



The flowers of these plants generally are shaped like mammoth tulips with a hotdog-like tube inserted in the center.
