Scilla Bulbs

Scilla Bulbs grow flower stalks with several hanging bell shaped blossoms. Scilla multiplies very quickly underground and new bulbs are easy to transplant. Most Scilla is blue but TyTy Nursery offers rare pink and white varieties as well.



Some scillas produce stems of flowers that grow 3-4 feet tall. The blue flowers of the Scilla Campanulata hang in clusters of bright blue fragrant bells with a grape fragrance.



Scilla bulbs have tiny roots.



Scilla peruviana also called Cuban lily and Hyacinth. This beautiful flower rises from a large bulb, the size of a golf ball. The flower occurs in an umbel of sapphire star-shaped, blue blossoms on a stem 1 to 2 feet tall. Several stalks may occur at once that display a hundred or more flowers from one bulb.Zones 7-11.




A bulb of the Scilla Campanulata can multiply rapidly into 25 bulbs that each form flower stalks with hanging blue bell flowers.
