Loquat Trees

The loquat is an evergreen fuit that produces large clusters of yellow to orange berries with a unique flavor of the nectarine with a suggestive citrus overtone.

The loquat fruit is produced in large clusters sometimes containing as many as 20 individual fruits, and the leaves are evergreen surviving temperatures as low as zero degrees F. in Winter as in the year of the deep freeze in Southern Georgia when the thermometer plunged to zero degrees F.
