Blooms appear in June and last all summer until the beginning of September. The leaves of Yuma Crape Myrtle turn yellow-orange during the fall, and the tree grows to 20 ft. tall at maturity with 90 days of flowering. The Yuma Crape Myrtle Tree can grow in a vase shape or can be pruned for a more rounded head. The purple electric color of the blooms of the Yuma Crape Myrtle Tree have huge clusters of flower heads that are very vigorous, and grow into a beautiful flowering evergreen tree that won the Georgia Gold Medal Award for excellence.
