Yellow Gold Plums
Very few fruit items suit an expectant mother more than a sour plum, as every husband knows, after he has been sent to the market at midnight to search for that indescribable green or yellow-gold sour plum. The flavor of the fruit from the Yellow Gold Plum tree when picked fresh from the tree is richly sour and sweet balanced and aromatic. This large aromatic yellow plum is firm, keeps well, and has excellent quality. This plum fruit was developed at the Southwestern Research Station and the flavor is subtle and sour when it is fully ripe.
