Tuscarora Crepe Myrtle Trees have a late blooming season, from August to October. The Dark Pink Blooms are highlighted by decorative brown bark. In late Autumn the tree changes color and the leaves have shades of red, yellow, and orange. Tuscarora Crepe Myrtles can grow up to 20' tall in full sun with proper care and pruning, and this beautiful pink colored tree won a National Arboretum Award, and will bloom from August until October. The leaves turn a beautiful red-orange color in the fall and during the 70 days of flowering during the season, because the Tuscarora Crape Myrtle blooms later in the season, the blooms fill a unique niche, when only a few other flowers are in season, and producing beautiful blooms. The quality of the flowers is excellent, and the trees are very vigorous. Each petal of the Tuscarora Crape Myrtle Tree is highly ruffled which is what gives the overall bloom cluster soch a light fluffy appearance. The tree should be pruned each year in the fall to remove stray branches that occur naturally.
