Tifblue Blueberry Plant
Introduced by Otis J. Woodard and the USDA at the University of Georgia Experiment Station in Tifton, GA. the Tifblue Blueberry bush was a breakthrough in hybridizing native riverbottom selections from Georgia and Florida habitats. The Tifblue, Woodard and Bluebelle cultivars were named from those native crosses of wild blueberries. This southern style blueberry grows very well in the southern regions of the United States and produces best when planted in full sun.
