Tanenashi Persimmon
The shape of the fruit is round and pointed at the base of the Tanenashi Persimmon and it grows to the size of a grapefruit. The Tanenashi Japanese Persimmon can easily be shipped commercially to markets all over the United States. Very few fruit trees are as reliably productive as the Japanese Persimmon Tree. The color of the fruit is light yellow, but the color will change to orange when the persimmon is fully ripe. The Tanenashi Persimmon produces all male flowers, so that the sweet delicious fruit when ripe is seedless. The astringent character of the Tanenashi Persimmon can be avoided if the fruit is fully ripe and soft after picking from the tree.
