The clusters of violet blue flowers from the Sapphire Showers cascade from the stems nearly all year. The Sapphire Showers plant is cold hardy down to 20*F and originated from plants found in native Florida. Also called "Sky Flower", "Golden Dewdrop" and "Pigeon-Berry". The Sapphire Showers plant thrives in full sun and produces masses of sky blue, tubular flowers with a picoted white edging on each blossom petal. After the Sapphire Showers plant blooms, it is followed by dramatic orange-yellow berries that are loved by pigeons and other birds.
