Nonpareil Almond Tree

Alternative Views:

Nonpariel Almond Trees need 400 extended (3 weeks of temps. below 45 degrees F.) chill hours in order to break their dormancy and to then grow in the spring. ┬áThese trees grow very large and will produce abundant crops but do necessarily require to be pollinated by the Texas Almond Trees. The Nonpareil Almond Tree is extremely robust and can survive very harsh conditions. Nonpareil Almonds always grow with a tough leathery flesh encased around the nut which is  always removed and discarded before the almond can reach the  market.

Not exactly as advertised March 17, 2014
Reviewer: Florida from boca raton, FL United States
The advertised 5-6 foot tree was less than 4 feet including root length but looks healthy. The packaging was poor, no internal branch protection and the box was not labeled top side up or fragile so it was a bit beat up when it arrived and one end was soaked from leaking minimal roots which were tightly bound to the two grapevine roots.  Time will tell with careful nurture.
