The Lang Jujube ripens in July in very large clusters and the Jujube fruit lasts for weeks on the tree with a perfect flavor. The leaves of the Lang Jujube are bright green, waxy and color bright yellow in the fall. As the Lang Jujube fruit enlarges in June and July the green color will change to red. A favorite snack in the Orient is dried jujubes that when properly dehydrated will last for months without refrigeration.
