Lady Jane Amaryllis Bulb
The Lady Jane Amaryllis cultivar blooms in the yard in April in South Georgia. The most popular Double Dutch amaryllis is the Lady Jane Amaryllis, a reliable bloomer that produces multiple stems. The bright orange streaks move from the center of the Lady Jane Double Amaryllis bloom outwards to the tips leaving white stripes glowing from the middle of the petal. The Lady Jane Amaryllis flower stalk will emerge from the ground in April leafless, but a few days later the leaves will appear! When containerized and forced into flower, the Lady Jane flower stem is capped with an inflorescence of 4 to 6 double flowers, and the first flower stem will be shortly followed by another emerging evolution of blossoms that springs from the swollen Amaryllis bulb.
