As the fruit begins to to swell and change color to yellow, the everbearing white Italian Fig tree branches begin to arch over from the increased weight of the figs, making fig harvesting much more convenient. One ripe white everbearing fig is a delicious handful of eating pleasure if you buy a nursery grown, bearing size Italian White Fig tree. The Italian fig is everbearing, meaning that it bears more than one fig harvest during the year. In Italy an after-dinner dessert is served accompanied by fresh, delicious Italian figs, that sometimes are dried in sugar crystals.

Disappointed August 14, 2017
Reviewer: Themis S. from ASTORIA, NY United States
I ordered the 5-6 ft Italian fig tree and I got it in a box that was bend out of shape. Sure enough when I opened it the tree was broken in half and the leaves were yellow with brown spots ready to fall off. I planted it anyway and hoping it takes next year. What got me was that the tiny tree trunk looked almost dried out. I think it would be better if they tied the tree to a Wood stick to prevent it from breaking and....more of those fell capsules by the roots to prevent it from drying out.

I am still not sure of the root pruning but it is a healthy specimen so far. It is beginning to put out new growth. The next week or so will determine how well it does. I am hopeful!
