The Heart Vine plant forms potato like appendages occasionally as large a as grapefruit that will form another vine,  if detached from the mother vine planted.
The fast growing Heart Vine will quickly cover fences or sides of buildings with heart-shaped leaves that grow up to a foot wide. The mother Heart Vine plant will also sprout the following year to form another fresh vine, and the large bulbs of the Heart Vine plant form above and below the ground.
