The fruit will ripen in November just in time for the family holidays at the end of the year. The Hachiya Persimmon Trees are presently being established for the fresh fruit market in Georgia and Florida. The fall and winter seasons are the best time to transplant a Hachiya Persimmons. Fruit from the Hachiya Persimmon ships well and has a long shelf-life. 4 plants were bought. I can't tell the 2 Fuyu from the Hachiya, there was no label anymore attached to the plantsThey arrived in good shape. 3 of them had no side branches, just a stick. The one with side branches has started to grow. The sticks show no sign of awakening. Will recheck in a couple of weeks
